SFDB Post Of The Week

Food enthusiast posts dominated the South Florida blogosphere last week. It seems like every post I selected for Post of the Week consideration was discussing food or restaurants. Maybe I need to eat dinner before doing the review. In any case, here are my favorites for the week.

Runners-Up: Food for Thought's impressions of the Khong River House Cobaya dinner were thorough, well-written and well-imaged...some things never change at Food for Thought.  You can tell that the recently prolific Chowfather had a lot of fun telling us about "The Odd Couple Dinner" at Blue Collar restaurant.  Miami Beach 411 held nothing back when they named Miami's four most overrated restaurants and it was kind of useful to find out for a change what dining establishments we need to avoid.

WinnerSouth Florida Food and Wine knows how to assemble an effective blog post and maybe that's why you see her appearing in the Post of the Week so frequently. Last week, she provided an excellent look at some possible up and coming chefs competing at the annual S.Pellegrino Almost Famous Chef Competition. Nicely imaged and researched, you got a great feel for the vibe that was present that night at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Miami.  This week S.Pellegrino Almost Famous Chef Competition Miami gets my vote for SFDB Post of the Week. Good job, South Florida Food and Wine.

The January Post of the Month voting is going on as you read this. Expect to see results here next week.

'Til next time, keep on blogging!
